City 3/24/60.
- Started playing
alto saxophone at age 8 and played first professional jazz gig at age
15.
- Earned Musical
Arts degree in saxophone performance from University of Illinois and
recorded first album as leader "Five
in the Sky" at age 24.
- Performed with
David Liebman, Brian
Lynch, Jerry Dodgian, and Cindy Blackman.
- Published David
Murray and Steve Lacy solo transcriptions in Down Beat.
- Recorded second
album as a leader "The B3 Band: Shadows" in
1993.
- Performed in Seattle
with Milo
Petersen and the Jazz Disciples, Jim
Knapp orchestra, Pax Wallace, Kerouac: The Essence of Jack.
- Performed in Seattle
at Jazz Alley with Steve Griggs
Quintet (Oscar Williams, John Hansen, Paul Gabrielson, Milo Petersen).
